The road through Janov

Past Wieszczyna the road leads through Janov. Few cars use it, and cows and sheep graze along the way. A few minutes from Nuka House the landscape already feels like nobody is in a hurry.

The trail from Petrovy Boudy

From the free Petrovy Boudy car park a wide track climbs gently to the summit, only about 177 metres up. It is the shortest and easiest way onto Biskupia Kopa. Small children manage it easily, and the trail is fine for dogs too.

On the summit and the tower

The border runs right across the top, so you stand in Poland and the Czech Republic at once. The lookout tower opens at 10:00. Entry costs 50 CZK or 10 PLN, but you pay at a machine by the entrance, by card or with Czech coins. From the top you can see both countries, and on a clear day the area around Łąka Prudnicka as well.

The mountain hut below Biskupia Kopa

On the Polish side, a little lower down, stands the PTTK mountain hut, known for its tradition of cutting off ties. You can walk down to it and return the same way to the car park.

Back to Nuka House

From the car park you are back at Nuka House in under half an hour. A day that began on the summit can end in the garden or in warm water on the terrace, looking at the same mountain.
